Mountain State University’s nursing program leads to a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, or B.S.N.—the most employable and advancement-oriented credential with which you can enter the profession. You’ll be prepared not only for immediate employment but also for long-term career growth and advanced study.

The program is available on the Beckley and Martinsburg campuses. Graduates are eligible to apply for the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN), which you must pass to be licensed as a nurse. Other eligibility requirements vary by state; you should check in advance with the state in which you plan to practice to ensure that you can meet all requirements.
