Spectrum is Mountain State University’s specially-designed program to help working adults earn a degree.  Students can obtain all general education requirements in as little as 18 months by attending classes one night a week in over 90 locations throughout West Virginia. 

In each of Spectrum’s four semesters, you’ll take a set group of related classes with an emphasis on real-world connections between subjects.  You’ll build a core of knowledge upon which you can create a career; you’ll develop an appreciation for a wide range of disciplines and strengthen your communication skills.  You’ll learn to make informed, thoughtful, and focused moral and ethical decisions based on an understanding of society’s issues.
