Mountain State University — new programs, new campuses, and new locations!
For more than 75 years, Mountain State University has provided higher education to generations of people, many of them adults with significant work and family responsibilities. We have always been dedicated to making quality higher education convenient, accessible, and affordable, and now have several new extensions of that commitment available, including our first doctoral-level program!
Two new degrees are available: the Doctor of Executive Leadership and Master of Arts in Psychology, both at our campus in Beckley, W.Va. and online.
We will soon be presenting numerous other programs online, beginning immediately with the Associate and Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies.
The Master of Science in Nursing is now available at the University’s Orlando campus, with a concentration in Nursing Administration and Education. Additionally, MSU now has select programs available at new campuses in Washington, D.C., and Mooresville, N.C., and at new locations in Pennsylvania.

The Higher Learning Commission — North Central Association has renewed Mountain State University’s accreditation for ten years, the longest possible renewal. We’re proud of our growth, and of the opportunity to add members to the MSU family—thousands of people from around the globe who have called, and continue to call, Mountain State University home!
