The Washington Center Offers Unique Internship Program to MSU Students

Representatives from The Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars were on campus on Monday, October 14 to present information regarding their programs to MSU faculty and students.The Washington Center offers an exciting internship program with semester-long residency in Washington, DC. Students intern at leading non-profit and federal agencies and participate in unique seminars each Friday.
These internship experiences combine real-world work experience with academic programs to provide students with the most complete educational opportunities available, with college credit. Financial assistance to eligible applicants and housing are available through The Washington Center.
Affiliated with more than 800 colleges and universities nationwide, The Washington Center works with 2,000-3,000 internship placements in Washington representing major professional fields in the private, public, and non-profit sector. Because the Washington, D.C. area provides resources and opportunities unavailable elsewhere, students can take advantage of internship opportunities in almost every area, including arts, business, criminal justice, environment, foreign policy, government affairs, health, information technology, law, public administration, science, and more.
