Mountain State University focuses on meeting the educational needs
of working adults. Our liberal admissions policies, accommodating
credit transfer options and assessment of prior learning program allows
students to maximize their previous successful education efforts
in pursuit of the ultimate goal, a regionally accredited bachelors
or masters degree.
Convienent Class Schedules
Students at Mountain State University generally attend class one night per week, allowing the time for outside study, family, work, and friends that adult students require.
Liberal Addmissions
Mountain State University's campus is full of people just like you—working adults who want to keep on learning—so you won't be alone! In fact, over half of our students are age 25 or older.
Applications and new enrollments for most programs
at MSU are accepted on a rolling basis. If you are applying to
a program with limited enrollment or a cohort-based structure,
your application may be placed on a waiting list or considered
for the next year's class. We will notify you as quickly as possible
of the status of your application—usually within two weeks.
Affordable Education
Our affordable tuition offers the best educational value in
Southwest Pennsylvania. MSU offers a complete range of financial
aid
options and
can even provide students with the wireless laptop computer, fully loaded with
software that they will need to facilitate their assignments.
Lifelong Commitment
Finally, the career development office works with students as they graduate to
assess their best possible future. Our career services department works with
our alumni on a lifelong basis, so your investment in yourself with Mountain
State continues to pay dividends years after you graduate.
