Medical imaging is an integral element in the health care delivery system and skilled technologists are in high demand. Imaging technology, whether in radiologic technology or diagnostic medical sonography, is a high-tech health services career for students who are interested in providing direct patient care and working as part of a healthcare team. Although no prior experience is necessary to apply for this program, students must demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills, strong problem-solving skills, honesty, dependability and adaptability.
