Doctor of Executive Leadership
What are the admission requirements for the program?
Students need to have completed a master's or first professional degree in any field from a regionally accredited institution. In order to apply for program admission, candidates must complete an application packet which includes: the admission application, a three to five-page discussion paper describing the applicant’s anticipated contribution to a doctoral leadership cohort, a resume detailing a minimum of five years of professional experience in a leadership role, and letters of academic and professional recommendation. Once the admission application is complete, students will be interviewed by the admissions committee.
If you have not completed a master's or first professional degree, you could start your graduate work with a master's degree from Mountain State University. Our Master of Science in Strategic Leadership provides a solid foundation of leadership learning that is extended and deepened in our Doctor of Executive Leadership program.
