The legal studies major provides a broad education focusing on the law, legal processes and legal institutions, how they relate, and how they operate. The courses cover law and legal institutions as social, political, and cultural phenomena.

MSU offers a B.S. degree in Legal Studies — Pre-law and a A.S. degree in Legal Studies — Paralegal.
