B.A. in Psychology
The B.A. program in psychology provides students with knowledge, skills, and values relating to the science and application of psychology, including major concepts, theories, findings, and research methods. Students gain an understanding of values and ethics within the field. They learn to use critical thinking and a scientific approach to psychological questions and problems, and to apply their learning to personal, social, and organizational issues. A liberal-arts orientation fosters skills in information technology and communication, an understanding of sociocultural and international diversity, personal development, and career planning.
