M.A. in Psychology

Mountain State University’s Master of Arts in psychology is a two-year program of study designed for professional versatility. Graduates may teach psychology at the community college level, or they can choose to pursue a career in nonlicensed research, mental health, human services, or business. They also are prepared to enter a doctoral degree program in psychology.

The program is offered on MSU’s Beckley campus in a format designed especially to accommodate a full-time or part-time work schedule. Campus-based courses are scheduled to meet on weekends and at other convenient times.
