Learn about the foundation and focus of your study at MSU.
Students studying social work at Mountain State prepare for generalist social work practice. Generalist practice encompasses a wide range of populations and programs. Your study will provide a foundation in theories, practices, ethics, values, and roles of social workers and focus on problem solving and communication skills. In addition to social work classes, you will also take a broad sampling of liberal arts courses.
