Entering Freshmen - How to ApplyMountain State University maintains an open-door admission policy for applicants who have graduated from an accredited high school or who have earned a General Education Development (GED) certificate. Transfer/Transient Students/Independent Study - How to ApplyYou may have begun your college education elsewhere and now youve decided to transfer to Mountain State University. We welcome your application! Or, if you are currently enrolled at another college or university, you are welcome to take courses at MSU as a transient student for transfer credit to your home institution. If youre interested in Independent Study, MSU currently offers 335 Directed Independent Study courses.
