Spectrum Business Program

Thank you for your interest in Mountain State University. Our Spectrum program is designed to allow adult students to complete general education requirements while fulfilling family and career obligations. Classes meet one night a week in locations convenient to where you live and work. The program is designed for adults who have never attended college. The Business Orientation prepares the student to pursue a Business oriented degree.

To request an admissions packet please contact our information center toll-free at 1-866-FOR-MSU1.

In order to be ready to begin classes, we will need the following items from your admissions packet:

  • Non-refundable application fee ($25 payable to Mountain State University)
  • Financial aid application
(If you are applying for federal financial aid/student loans- complete the FAFSA through our Virtual Financial Aid Office at http://mountainstate.vfao.com.)
  • For those students not using student loans/federal aid a payment plan is available for tuition.
  • Official transcripts (in sealed envelope) from your High School (or GED) and all colleges attended and/or Military transcripts

The last step in admission is an assessment appointment. During this meeting you will register for classes and review your student file. You will be notified in writing one month prior to the start of class to schedule an admission meeting with an MSU representative.
