Mission of the Cougar Athletic Club
The mission of the Cougar Athletic Club is to provide scholarships and support to athletic programs and Mountain State University student athletes.
Why We Need Assistance
Mountain State University is a private, not-for-profit university that maintains its budget without the benefit of government funding. The University's revenue is generated primarily through tuition, and athletic programs are therefore limited.
Athletics serve an important role in education, often showcasing the University and framing the public's perception of the quality of the institution as a whole.
Financial stability is necessary to recruit, train, and provide scholarships to first-rate athletes. With adequate financial resources, Mountain State University can maintain successful athletic programs that will proudly represent our hometown university.
