FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: KIAC SOCCER PLAYERS OF THE WEEK FOR OCTOBER 13TH

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (October 13th, 2008) The Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference is proud to announce Player of the Week honors for October 6th- October 12th in Soccer. 

Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week: Ali Katrib, Mountain State University

Ali Katrib was named Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for October 6th- October 12th. Katrib is a 6-0 junior midfielder from Salamieh, Syria. Katrib scored a goal on a free kick and assisted a goal on a corner kick in the 4-1 win over Berea College. Katrib’s goal is the third on the year.
