As a student at Mountain State University, the OptimalResume online software suite is now available as a free service provided by the MSU Career Services Center. OptimalResume can help you take care of all of these things and more. This easy-to-use online software allows you to quickly and effortlessly create essential professional documents such as resumes and cover letters, as well as investigate crucial job-related skills such as the practice interview or skills assessment. You can even send your results directly to your professor or career services center online for review and comments!

You can draft your resume in just a few short minutes with OptimalResume's comprehensive software, which includes content examples for each section and format assistance, all on a 24/7 basis. Practice your interviewing skills with real-to-life, multi-media interview scenarios that were developed by seasoned employment professionals to prepare them for even the toughest of interviews.

With OptimalInterview, you are in full control of your interview practice session. Choose the length of the practice session, the type of interview, and the questions to be asked. • OptimalEfolio, an online portfolio builder, free to current students. If you have documents or projects that you would like to show to employers, an OptimalEfolio is an excellent complement to your resume. Users can choose from a File Cabinet, where employers can download documents to their own computers for review, or a Slide Show to showcase projects in an interactive online slide show.

TO ACCESS OPTIMAL RESUME SYSTEM: Choose "New Users Click Here" option in the Login box, located on the left side of the website page. Please enter your Mountain State email address and click "Continue" to create an account. An email with a random code will be sent to your msucougar.org, validating your registration and allowing access into the OptimalResume system. At this point you may either click the link provided in the email or paste the Random Code into the appropriate box on the website.
