Office of the Registrar & Student Services

The Office of the University Registrar provides direct support to students, staff, and faculty through services such as registering students for courses, evaluating transfer credit, scheduling, maintaining student records, and issuing academic transcripts. The Office of the Registrar also certifies that students have fulfilled all requirements for graduation. The registrar's office is committed to providing these services to you in a timely, accurate, and helpful manner.

The Office of the Registrar is located on the first floor of the Benedum Center on the main campus in Beckley. Regular office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Student Services Mission

The Department of Student Services facilitates student success by providing information and services to support, complement and promote the educational mission of the university. Specifically, the department provides fair and consistent administration of institutional administrative and academic policy through open communication and collaboration with students, faculty, staff and external constituencies in a timely, accurate, confidential and supportive manner in accordance with nationally recognized professional standards, state and federal law.
