Mountain State University offers several options for tutoring. Detailed information is available from the Tutoring & Testing Center. Additionally, the Office of Student Success can assist you with your tutoring requests:

Thursdays at Three

Thursdays at Three is a Student Enrichment Program designed to provide a consistent time and location for students to meet on campus and learn about different areas of student life and educational management. Each meeting begins with either a presentation lead by a representative from a selected department or by an Office of Student Success representative. Although each week has a different focus, the meetings have a question and answer session where students can ask about any area of student service and receive answers or referrals. Peer Tutoring

During the fall and spring semesters, the Testing & Tutoring Center provides peer tutors for MSU students at no charge in the following subject areas:

• Anatomy & Physiology
• Chemistry
• English
• Health Sciences
• Mathematics

Tutors meet with students for face-to-face tutoring sessions on the Beckley campus.
